Payroll Calendar

This screen enables the Payroll Exchange Calendar periods for the current tax year to be defined in Preceda. It stores the relationship between a pay period's start date/end date and the matching PEX pay period number.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Dates indicated here must be aligned with the dates from the Payrun Header. Otherwise, a Message Wait (MSGW) can occur.
  • Setup dates from the Payrun Header should be aligned.

 

Field Information

Choose the Pay Frequency for this Payroll Calendar.

The Period Number format is YYYYPP (Year & Period Number).

Enter the Period Start Date that is aligned with that of the Payrun Header, and within the Payroll Exchange cut-off dates.

Enter the Period End Date that is aligned with that of the Payrun Header, and within the Payroll Exchange cut-off dates.
